The 3 Imperatives of Breath Work

ONE
CONSCIOUS

  • Bringing awareness to your breath

  • Being absolutely present with your breath.

  • Observing and watching how you breathe. Are you holding your breath? Is your breath shallow?

  • Are you allowing the breath to lead you?

  • Are you relaxing on the exhale?

TWO
CONNECTED

  • Inhaling and exhaling without a pause - like a turning wheel.

  • No holding of the breath at the top of the inhale or the bottom of the exhale.

  • Deep inhalations and relaxed and easy exhalations.

  • Think about the sound of the mantra So - Hum.

THREE
CIRCULAR

Breath Work encourages participants to practice this cyclical rhythm until the breath finds its own natural rhythm. That's where the magic happens. The pace is supported by music or guided meditation. After 30 to 45 minutes, heightened oxygenation of the body & cells can boost energy levels and promote physical healing.

CONSCIOUS, CONNECTED, CIRCULAR BREATHING (CCCB)…

is a breathing technique that involves continuous, rhythmic breathing patterns without pauses between the inhalation and exhalation.

Benefits of CCCB may include:

Stress Reduction

By focusing on the breath and maintaining a continuous, rhythmic pattern, CCCB can help calm the nervous system and reduce stress levels.

Enhanced Relaxation

The smooth, circular breathing pattern can induce a state of deep relaxation, promoting feelings of peace and tranquility.

Improved Mental Clarity

Practicing CCCB regularly may help clear the mind, improve focus, and enhance mental clarity.

Breath Awareness

As a result of the practice, you gain a sense of awareness to your breath in daily life. Are you holding your breath, breathing though the mouth, is your breath shallow? Why are you restricting your inhalations and exhalations? There is a saying “Your Life flows when your Breath flows”.

Emotional Regulation

CCCB can help regulate emotions by fostering a greater sense of self-awareness and allowing practitioners to observe and process their feelings more effectively.

As with any breathing technique or mindfulness practice, it's essential to approach CCCB with patience, openness, and self-compassion. It is a transformative modality that offers a unique path to emotional healing, stress reduction, and personal growth. Individuals can tap into their inner wisdom and unlock a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them.
